The name of brook which flows through this area is Gidra. After digging out a basement and bringing building material very strange things started to happen. The Red Stone pilgrimage
The Red Stone pilgrimage is the longstanding religious tradition of the Red Stone Castle the beginnings of which date back to 1751. In the occasion of the “Assumption of Virgin Mary“ believers from the whole Red Stone Castle estate and the surroundings come to the castle to venerate the “Virgin Mary“ whom the castle chapel is dedicated to. The pilgrimage is organized and led by the priest and believers from Častá. After arriving of procession accompanied by brass band music will begins with Mass beginning at 10:30 o'clock in the courtyard of the castle palace.

The Baroque Night at the Castle – A Concert
The baroque period is the period of maestros such as A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach or G. Ph. Telemann whose works are the jewels of the world music literature. The works interpreted by the oboe trio of Zuzana Grejtáková will bring Red Stone Castle visitors to a fascinating world of baroque music. The trio sonatas of the authors such as A. Corelli, G. Ph. Telemann and G. F. Händel but also G dur Sonata for violin and piano by A. Vivaldi or the works of T. Albinoni and J. S. Bach for oboe and piano will sound at the concert.
Performers: Zuzana Grejtáková (oboe, fipple flute, alto flute), Katarína Zacharová (violin) and Martina Tomašovičová (piano).

A Kill-time at the Castle
One would think that quiet has come to the castle and everything is asleep when a clock declares the evening and all the lights go down, but the opposite is true. The real entertainment starts right then. Marked by the Family Coat of Arms
The coat of arms was a visible sign „a logo“ of a noble family. It signalized the nobility of an owner and it reminded the glorious past of a family. The detailed photo exhibition will show the coat of arms of this noble family and visitors will be introduced to the objects marked by this particular coat of arms. The photos presented at the exhibition record exterior and interior building parts of the castle, collection objects and other artefacts marked by the family coat of arms until today.

Our Acquisitions 1981 – 2011
The exhibition will present the acquisition activity of SNM-Múzeum Červený Kameň (SNM – The Red Stone Castle Museum). The Secret World of Ladies
The Ladies Secret World is the name of a small exhibition – an installation of a lady´s bedroom from the 19th century furnished with everything that belonged there. Except furniture and accessory, visitors will see many small objects and details which cannot be exhibited normally (this time it is possible because of a glass wall) and so they will look into (in that time) not normally accessible ladies world.

SUŠ-art at the Red Stone Castle
Again this year SNM-Múzeum Červený Kameň (SNM – The Red Stone Castle Museum) continuous up in the successful cooperation with secondary and elementary schools. The Secondary Art School in Trenčín is one of the most active partners the museum cooperates with the third year. This time the main project bears the name SUŠ-art at the Red Stone Castle the output of which is the exhibition of graphics with the Red Stone Castle motif. They will be exhibited during the main touristy season 2013. Graphics will be made by students of The Secondary Art School in Trenčín by the help of various graphic techniques (lino-cut, dry needle, etc.).
